Norton Fernando, FCIA
Norton is a professionally qualified accountant with several decades of professional experience in Sri Lanka and overseas covering large companies as Finance Manager, Finance Director, Consultant etc. His stints include British Motor Car Corporation - UK, Imperial Tobacco Company – Ceylon, Ceylon Synthetic Textile Limited, Vauxhall Mills Corporation etc. He was also a successful Tea Exporter as Managing Director of Sea Air Export (Pvt) Limited.
Professor Atula Senartne
Atula received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and M.Sc. from the University of London, U.K., in 1982. He obtained a Ph.D. in Geology from the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, FR Germany. He has worked continuously for 40 years in the field of Geology. Specialist in the areas of, clay, limestone, graphite gold and copper.
Upendra received the national diploma of engineering services from the field of electronics and telecommunications in 1990. He has worked in the engineering Industry since 1991. With experience in IT solutions and marketing, he’s been the Managing Director of Goodwill Granite Ltd and Neil Granite Ltd since 2012.
Project Steering & Development
Mark is a senior project exploration specialist with an experienced background in project engineering, project steering and end to end management , heavy industry scheduling & planning. Business development and relationship building in localities, political, social & technical liaison to project start-up and development.
Aruna has illustrious 28 years of international career in the Aviation/Airline & Telecom sectors in Strategic Planning, Management, International relations, and Airport Construction. He was appointed H.E. President of Sri Lanka as the Director General of Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRC), Director of Information Communication Technology Association of Sri Lanka (ICTA), and the Vice Chairman of National Council of Economic Development (NCED) in Sri Lanka
Chinthaka Kumara received the National Diploma in Engineering Sciences from the field of Mechanical Engineering in 1990. His diverse engineering exposure in leading organizations since year 1991 in a senior managerial capacity has added values to many companies in Sri Lanka, which includes the energy sector (Hydro power /Solar power). He is a resource person & trainer for conducting Energy Programs under Sustainable Energy Authority of Sri Lanka & UNDP.
Dr Christian Derosier
Senior Geologist NA
Dr. Derosier received his Diploma in Physical, Chemical, and Natural Sciences (S.P.C.N.) from the University of Paris, France in 1966; followed by his M.Sc., Geology in 1969 and his D.Sc. Geology in 1971, also from the University of Paris.
Christian is a member of the Order of Geologists of Quebec and the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He brings almost 50 years of global exploration, project development and mining experience to AMECA's management team.
William Pfaffenberger, Ph.D
Dr. Pfaffenberger is a retired professor of mathematics who was in the Mathematics and
Statistics Department at the University of Victoria for 38 years. He served as a Member
of the Board of Governors, was Chair of his department and served as Chair of the Board
of Pension Trustees for 11 years overseeing a fund of over $400m. He is presently CEO and a director of Saint Jean Carbon Inc and is President of Fundamental Resources Corp, a private mining company.
